Foreign students in Hungary can often find themselves in difficulty due to the language barrier. Such situations could include anything from finding a flat or using a service in Pécs to an unexpected household emergency requiring professional assistance.
Therefore HÖK has decided to start POTE Chaperon Program, which allows volunteering hungarian medical students to assist foreign students in such difficulties. It's important to highlight that this program is totally free of charge, it merely offers a potential help to an everyday problem.
It's not a secret that the ultimate aim of this idea is to try and suppress that seemingly obvious separation between foreign and hungarian students.
If you sign up, you would be randomly assigned to a hungarian student, who will make contact with you.
The trial form of this program will commence in the upcoming (2016/spring) semester with a maximum capacity of 50 foreign students. Don't miss your opportunity!
