We are continuing with our 5th video theme, which was developed in the frame of the Erasmus+ IDEAL (2021-2-AT01-KA220-VET-000049281) project for health professionals wishing to improve their German.
In the fifth video, a dialogue about preparing for a surgery can be heard, happening the night before. The nurse asks the patient if she has read the patient leaflet and whether she has any questions. The nurse then mentions the morning tasks, such as medication intake, measuring vital signs, performing an ECG, blood glucose testing and cannulation. It also covers the exact time and the process of the surgery and post-operative placement.
