On 30 November, Dr. Béla Veszprémi, associate professor at the Clinical Center Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, received the Hippocrates medal. He was also the president of the Baranya County Regional Organization of the Hungarian Medical Chamber for 12 years.
This recognition is given to individuals who can be set as role models by their human and medical behaviour and who, through their chamber work and steadfastness - thereby increasing the prestige of the Hungarian Medical Chamber - have earned the recognition of colleagues and society.
