Thematik

The course, stemming from Dental Biophysics 1, addresses the physical relations between the structure and function of biological systems as well as the physical basis of diagnostic and therapeutic methods. The main topics include atomic and nuclear physics, spectroscopy, diagnostic and research methods and investigation methods in materials science.

Semesteranforderungen

During the semester the students write mid-term tests. Based on the results the students can be exempted from some parts of the final exam.

Möglichkeiten zur Nachholung der Fehlzeiten

Missed practices can be made up on the basis of discussion with the lab instructor. Maximum 3 absences from practices are allowed.
