Topic
During the course we present the molecular basics of modern therapeutical approaches, we put special emphasis on recombinant protein production and the RNAi based or viral gene therapy. Furthermore, we discuss in detail the gene, protein, or small molecule-based interventions in several disease groups from metabolic malfunctions to pulmonary diseases. Finally, we touch the future technologies in molecular therapy against infectious diseases.
