Topic

Course lectures will present current analytical procedures relevant to biotechnology, including analytical procedures, their basic theories, molecular interactions, data collection methods. During course practices, the students will familiarize themselves with the molecular bases of modern analytical procedures, will experience their advantages, disadvantages, and limitations during actual work with these devices. In addition, practices give the opportunity for students to perform molecular coupling techniques, gold nanoparticles, surface utilization, become familiar with devices, and test their basic characteristics. During this course, students gain important interdisciplinary knowledge on the verge of biotechnology/nanotechnology/pharmaceutical technology and also get insight into the analytics of natural and artificial vesicles. Such knowledge will prove to be helpful once searching for job opportunities in the labor market, in either basic or applied research.
