AMBOSS at the University of Pécs Medical School

The Univesity of Pécs Medica School and the Faculty of Pharmacy is the only institution in Hungary, which provides free access for its students to the AMBOSS QBank.

What is AMBOSS?

It is a medical learning platform that has become popular in an instant all over the world. The thing about Amboss is that it caters to a variety of different levels of medicine: from instructors or professors and physicians to students. It is a very user-friendly interface with everything being clear cut making navigating through it very quick and time efficient.

There are a lot of photos and overlays, from anatomical photos to schematic drawings.

The option to make use of their Anki extension is also available. This allows the user to combine the different platforms, with Amboss providing photos and explanations and Anki allowing to make flashcards.

With all these features provided it is easy to create a customized study plan best suited to the users strengths and weaknesses.

What do UPMS students need to do to register?

Anybody can sign up with their university e-mail address they get after admission. Our English and German Student Council has made a handy manual with easy-to-follow instructions.
