The rector of the UP, dr. Attila Miseta has named dr. Miklós Nyitrai as the dean of the Medical School from July 4. His mandate last for four years.
As it is knows, the mandate of dr. Miklós Nyitrai dean expired with June 30, 2022, therefore the University of Pécs has put out a tender for filling the position at the Medical School. He was the only one to hand in his application by the deadline.
He presented his application in the beginning of June at the meeting of the Teacher’s Committee meeting and the all-employee meeting. The Board of Directors and the Faculty Committee has evaluated it, and voted secretly.
The majority supported his application. Based on the votes, the final decision was made by the rector, and he has named dr. Nyitrai as the dean for another four years.
