From March 23 to 27, the Medical School in Pécs will celebrate the fifth anniversary of its Well-Being Program with a week-long series of events. Students, faculty members, and staff are invited to enjoy a wide variety of activities, including lectures, workshops, a farmers’ market, photo sessions, assistance dogs, healthy treats, games, and giveaways, all centred around physical and mental health, healthy eating, sport, and sustainability.
As part of the programme series, a Tai-Chi session will be held in the northern park of the Medical School on March 24 between 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM. The session will be conducted in English. The aim of the programme is to support participants’ physical and mental well-being through a calm and restorative form of exercise.
Tai-Chi is a gentle form of movement based on slow, flowing motions that helps reduce stress, improve concentration, and develop body awareness. The session will be held outdoors in the North Park of the Medical School; in case of rain, however, it will take place in the basement gym.
