The Library’s Reading Rooms and Research Room are located on the third floor of the main building of the Theoretical Block. Visitors can find Hungarian, English, and German textbooks, academic books, and current-year journals here. The books located in the Reading Rooms are also available for borrowing from closing time until opening time on the following day.
Medical models are available for on-site use only.
Our reading rooms can accommodate approximately 200 users in total, offering students a suitable environment for learning with desks and comfortable seating. Our quiet, air-conditioned rooms are equipped with computers, WiFi access, and power outlets to support our readers’ study and research activities.
Library Use Regulations
- Attention! Reading Room books marked with a red label must be returned by 9:00 a.m. the following morning. Otherwise, an overdue fee of HUF 200 per document per hour will be charged.
- Coats and bags (except laptop bags) are not permitted in the Library. Please leave them in the cloakroom located on the lower ground floor before entering.
- Food and drinks in cups are not permitted inside the Library.
- A valid library card is required for entry.
- Smoking throughout the entire building is prohibited, including the Library premises.
- It is forbidden to make notes in, underline, or damage any library materials.
- Silence and order must be maintained in the Library; talking, mobile phone use, or any other activity that disturbs other users is not permitted.
- Users who violate Library regulations may be temporarily or permanently excluded from Library services or have their access to certain services partially or fully restricted, depending on the severity of the violation.
- Library users may submit comments, suggestions, or complaints to the Library Director or to the librarian currently on duty.
