The construction of the new Dental Theoretical Block is progressing dynamically. According to the schedule, the HUF two billion investment can be completed by the end of the summer of 2021 - writes pecsma.hu.
The Department of Dentistry, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery will move from the old building on Dischka Győző Street to the area of the former Lakits barracks. The facility will be built on 3,000 square meters from about HUF two billion. According to pecsma.hu, the floor unit above the ground floor has already been concreted and the one above the first floor is planned for the end of July and the beginning of August. Meanwhile, professionals are also working in the basement.
According to the contractor, the construction is following the schedule, based on which the entire structure must be completed by the end of September and the beginning of October. The new building will serve both the patients in Pécs and the dental students of the UP at 21st century standards.
Barely a hundred meters from it the finishing touches are being added to the new theoretical block of the Medical School and the handover can take place at the end of the summer. This development cost about HUF ten billion. Four departments will move into the new building and several classrooms and lecture halls have been established in it.
