Dean’s Message - 6 September

6 September 2020

Dear Students,

Given the current epidemiological situation and the increase in SARS-CoV-2 positive cases, especially amongst students, we would like to take this time to remind you to be responsible.

As medical students and future doctors, you have a responsibility to not only protect yourself but also those around you.

Please take the necessary precautions to reduce the spreading of COVID-19.

Wear masks, keep 1,5 m apart, regularly wash your hands and sanitize, do not shake hands or share hugs with your friends or those you meet.

It is up to you how you choose to spend your time outside of school, but we highly recommend that you choose not to attend parties or partake in large gatherings.

These types of events will only increase the spread of COVID-19.

We would like to remind you, please do not attend class if you have symptoms or have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.

If you cannot attend classes for any reason, please email your course directors as they are in charge of absences and can provide alternatives to make up for these missed classes.

Sincerely,

Dr. Miklós Nyitrai

Dean
