Celebration of Teachers 2020

30 September 2020

Celebration of Teachers 2020

On 23 September, the leadership of our School organized the Celebration of Teachers online, in an unconventional way, it was originally planned to take place in May. It was hosted by Vice-Deans dr. Dóra Reglődi and dr. László Czopf.

This year, the list of awardees was compiled based on the votes of students graduating in the 2017/2018 and 2018/2019 academic years, and, as last year, heads of departments nominated outstanding education organizers as well.

20 institutes and clinics were awarded, there were 27 excellent teachers, 42 excellent supervisors, four colleagues received recognitions based on the proposal of the Dean's Leadership, and fifty colleagues were nominated by the heads of departments.

The excellent teacher award went to those who received a total of 10 or more votes in the two academic years, and the excellent supervisors were those who received 20 or more in the two academic years together. Each of the award-winning departments received a total of 50 or more votes.

The total number of votes: in 2018, 106 teachers, 316 supervisors, in 2019 118 teachers, 344 supervisors received votes.

In addition to the certificate of recognition, the awardees also received a ceramic statuette. The award was chosen by a voting last year after a competition announced for students at the Faculty of Music and Visual Arts.

The goal this year too was - by creating a tradition - to give employees a greater sense of appreciation and to provide additional motivation for their activities through positive feedback.
