The measures taken so far by the University regarding the protection against the coronavirus serve the safety of the university citizens. We find it necessary to take further steps in order to increase this security and reduce the exposure of students participating in health care practices.
In view of the current flu epidemic and the protection against the coronavirus epidemic, the National Chief Medical Officer has ordered a visiting ban to all inpatient care institutions and social institutions with residential service operating in Hungary from 8 March 2020 until further notice.
In the light of the above, the Medical School suspends the clinical practice trainings requiring patient contact from 11 March 2020 until further action.
