Topic

The course provides introductory knowledge in the field of cosmetology. During the semester, we will review the most important information about cosmetics based on the knowledge of pharmaceutical technology and biopharmaceuticals, including information on the licensing of cosmetics. Students can gain insight into the professional background of cosmetics for different skin types, which can provide useful knowledge in the pharmacological care of certain skin conditions (e.g., eczema, rosacea, pigment spots) in pharmacy practice.
