Mid-term exams

Assessment takes place during the examination period in the form of a written exam, consisting of test questions compiled from the topics listed below, which accounts for 80% of the final grade. During one examination period, the written exam is offered on five occasions.

The result of the bedside practical assessment conducted during the last two weeks of the study period accounts for 20% of the final grade.

Making up for missed classes

Up to 15% absence from practical sessions is allowed during the semester (in case of 15–25% absence, an individual request for special consideration may be submitted). Practical sessions may be made up in another group covering the same topic, on a maximum of two occasions.

For all contact hours (lectures + practical sessions), a maximum of 15% absence is also permitted (in case of 15–25% absence, an individual request for special consideration may be submitted).

If absences exceed this limit, the student will not be permitted to take the examination.
