Topic

Topics of signal transduction will be discussed beyond the details of the compulsory course, Molecular cell biology 2. In 12 x 45 minutes special attention is paid to mechanisms that are relevant to diseases.

The course is recommended to those students who are especially interested in the signaling aspects of pathological processes.

Conditions for acceptance of the semester

On top of not exceeding the maximally allowed number of absences one must reach an average of minimally 1.5 of the two test grades.

Mid-term exams

Two multiple-choice test-exams, with ~25 questions each, one halfway and another one at the end of the course.
