Topic

Why can one member of a family develop a tumor and not the other? Can the lifestyle of our parents and grandparents affect our health? What molecular factors and mechanisms may be responsible for the inheritance of acquired traits? Is epigenetics the missing link between genetics, environment and disease? The course will focus primarily on these questions and will present the most commonly used epigenetic techniques.
