Topic

The course aims to develop the problem-solving skills of future pharmacists through case discussions. To give students practical advice and guidance on how to deal with the problems that people most often encounter in the pharmacy. The topics include: Drug therapy problems in cardiovascular diseases (palpitation, chest pain, edema, dizziness, weakness, headache). Medical treatment of gastrointestinal diseases (anorexia, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, abdominal pain, bloody stools), Pharmacotherapeutic problems of respiratory diseases (cough, runny nose, shortness of breath, wheezing, chest pain). Pharmacological problems in coagulation disorders (coumarin, heparin therapy, interactions, hemostasis). Pharmacotherapeutic problems in neurological diseases (dizziness, headache, tinnitus, loss of consciousness, pain, paralysis). Special pharmacological problems in pediatrics. Treatment of inflammatory and allergic diseases. Anxiety, depression, drug abuse. Pharmacological problems of pain relief. Problem-solving in the field of antimicrobial therapy. Problems of medication during pregnancy and lactation. Contraception, the therapeutic use of drugs acting on genital organs. Use of drugs acting on the sensory organs.
