Our working group aims to adapt internationally recognized and validated questionnaires, designed to assess the symptoms and severity of musculoskeletal disorders, into Hungarian and introduce them into clinical practice in Hungary. These questionnaires can be completed by patients independently during waiting times.
The project involves the translation and validation of tools such as the Boston Carpal Tunnel Questionnaire (BCTQ) and the Kamath-Stothard Questionnaire (KS), which facilitate accurate symptom assessment, determination of disease severity, and monitoring treatment effectiveness.
Our long-term goal is to make validated questionnaires a routine part of patient care, contributing to quicker diagnoses, more standardized follow-up processes, and improved therapeutic decision-making. Additionally, we plan to integrate these questionnaires into national patient registries, promoting advancements in research and enhancing the quality of care. Through this work, we aim to provide tools that standardize and improve the diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal diseases in Hungary.
