Dear Young Colleagues!
Reviewing the timetable, you may have noticed that we have made some minor changes to the third-year pathology courses. The curriculum has not been changed, but for rational reasons, the histology practices will be held simultaneously for two groups at the same time in a new location (Rákóczi str 1, Room 101). Groups 5 and 6 will take Histopathology Seminars in the old Seminar Room at Szigeti str. During these exercises, you will be able to study macroscopic features of diseases by means of digital images, in addition to the presentation of digital sections. The renewed preparations, which are part of the curriculum, will be demonstrated in the old Histopathology Seminar room (Szigeti str) instead of four autopsy practices during the semester. Therefore, in addition to the slides, the images presented in the histopathology seminars will also be considered as exam material. Only macroscopic images (no preparations!) will be shown to dentistry students.
The semester exam therefore consists of a theoretical question, a preparation or image, and a section. Autopsy exam will only be organized at the end of the 2nd semester and only for general medicine students. For dentistry students there will be no preparations in the exam.
