Thematik

A good presentation is more than a well-structured slideshow, more than discussing an interesting topic, and more than a lecturer with outstanding knowledge. A good presentation is primarily composed of the speaker's skills, abilities, and techniques, which can be learned and developed.

Future doctors, dentists, and pharmacists often face the challenges of giving presentations during their university years. Later in their careers, they will inevitably find themselves in situations—ranging from scientific conferences to hospital briefings, teaching activities, and public health education—where they must present in front of audiences of varying sizes within different areas of healthcare.

The goal of this course is to prepare students for the challenges of giving presentations, teach them how to handle and overcome these difficulties, and introduce the principles of effective and targeted presentations.

Beyond learning presentation techniques, the course also covers fundamental concepts of psychology, rhetoric, self-awareness, assertiveness, stress management, communication, leadership, and time management. Students can expect dynamic, engaging, and interactive lectures throughout the course.
