Thematik

The course aims to improve the collaboration between doctors and pharmacists, providing medical students with an insight into the key knowledge, challenges and evolving and expanding pharmacist competencies that are essential for the successful doctor-pharmacist collaboration.

In teaching the subject, particular emphasis is placed on identifying opportunities and strategies for collaboration and the factors that influence them. The acquirement of a background knowledge of the professional activities of pharmacists ultimately serves the healing and improvement of patients and the availability of appropriate drug therapy.
