Thematik

The course introduces students into the world of experimental data science, enhancing their skills to express their opinion in a credible and autonomous way, thus helping their research activity. Students get insight into the process of scientific research, searching accessible resources, creating research plans, evaluating experimental data and publishing their results. We will also deal with methods of data collection, methods of literature search, critical evaluation of information, ethical issues of scientific research. Students will familiarize with types of scientific writing, rules and standards of scientific publication. We will also deal with the special regulations of preparing a diploma thesis. We put emphasis on providing the opportunity for students to practice and gain expertise during seminar sessions.
