Thematik

The aim of the subject is twofold. On the one hand, to review certain parts of the Introduction to Biochemistry, 2nd semester compulsory course (bioorganic chemistry, such as proteins, carbohydrates, lipids, small molecular organic substances) and to deepen the knowledge acquired in the main subject by interpreting their physiological role in different types of sports and their possible participation in pathological processes. On the other hand, to disseminate general knowledge about sports, knowledge about healthy lifestyles, nutrition, and to provide introductory information, partly to facilitate the foundation of later subjects. To provide useful, scientifically based information for students interested in different types of sports, and to analyze current sports nutrition trends.
