Thematik
The aim of the course is to inform students about theoretical and practical aspects of fixed partial dentures. Students will practice these steps during a practical course in the laboratory. The aim for the course is also to demonstrate the odontotechnological aspects and show the possible mistakes and corrections of them.

Voraussetzung zum Absolvieren des Semesters
Active participation on lectures based on the Study and Exam Regulations of the University (participation will be registered on every lecture).
Acceptance of the semester according to the Study and Exam Regulations of the University and successful completion of both midterm exams, written in week 7 and 13 in time of the lectures.
Semesteranforderungen
The midterms will take place in week 7 and 13, during the time of the lecture.
If the student fails to come to one of the midterm exams, the result of that exam is considered as unsatisfactory (1).
Unsatisfactory (1) mark needs to be improved during the active time of the semester (only unsatisfactory (1) marks can be improved). This improvement can only be done once per midterm on week 8 and 14. If the student fails to improve the mark or not write the improvement exam, the subject won’t be accepted, the student won’t be able to participate in the oral exam.
During the oral exam, 2 topics will be selected from the exam questions, listed in the course description. In the case of both topics, a minimum satisfactory (2) marks are required to pass the exam.
If the results of both midterm exams are excellent (5), 1 topic will be drawn during the oral exam.
The results of both midterm exams will be considered in the final mark of the oral exam.
