The Committee on International Affairs nurtures and develops existing foreign relations and seeks to build new international partnerships. Our constantly updated database helps to monitor the international exchange partnerships of the Medical School.
The Committee on International Affairs oversees the activity of the Office for International Relations and Erasmus Programme. The staff of the office informs the students, lecturers and administrative staff of the Faculty about foreign exchange programs, scholarships and application opportunities, organizes rotational practices and summer internships for medical students, study trips for lecturers, researchers and staff based on inter contracts. It is the responsibility of the Committee to evaluate the applications for scholarship programs, while the day-to-day duties related to the application process are performed by the office.
In addition to expanding and implementing international exchange programs, the Committee on International Affairs coordinates the work of student organizations handling foreign relations (Hungarian Student Council (HÖK), Hungarian Medical Students’ International Relations Committee (HuMSIRC) and co-operates with student, lecturer and researcher organizations for foreign affairs at domestic higher education institutions.
