The goal of the competition:
To promote the sport of table tennis, a healthy lifestyle and regular exercise among the students of the University of Pécs. To decide the champion of the faculty Table Tennis Championships.

Participants of the competition:
The 2024/25 I. students with an active legal relationship enrolled for a semester (participating in full-time or PhD training); students of a foreign higher education institution participating in part-time education based on an official exchange relationship.

How the competition is organised:
The competitions are held in a qualifying group followed by a straight elimination system.
The right to start is decided by a toss (or agreement between the competitors.) A game lasts 11 points and there is a change of serve every five serves. Matches last up to 2 winnings set. A two-point lead is necessary for a winning game, so you have to continue playing after 11:10, at which point the players take turns serving. If the score is 15-all, the player who scores the 16th point wins the game. After each game, the players change sides. In the case of the third game, after reaching the 6th point, there is a change side.
The organisers reserve the right to change the procedure depending on the number of players.
Table tennis rackets will be provided for the duration of the tournament, but competitors are also allowed to use their own rackets.

Prizes:
The winners receive a medal, and the first place winner receives a cup.
On-site registration will be provided, but we kindly ask you to prefer online registration for the planning of the competition!
Other provisions:
Locker room facilities will be provided, but no responsibility will be taken for valuables left in the locker rooms.
Any disputes arising during the competition of the ÁOK House Championships which are not covered by the competition rules shall be decided by the Competition Committee in accordance with the Competition Rules of the relevant sport (table tennis).Participation in the competition is free of charge, but requires prior registration!
