18 May 2022

The new, modern theoretical building of the University of Pécs Medical School will host the Erasmus+ V.I.B.E. (Virtual Biomedical and STEM/STEAM Education) International Partner Meeting on May 23-24.

The goal of the V.I.B.E. project is the development and strengthening of the digital competences and education cooperation of participating organisations, and also sharing their knowledge and best practices with a broader audience.

Participants include youngsters interested in medicine and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) higher education, university students and employees, and citizens interested in these fields.

The organisers emphasize that the goal of the project is attracting and retaining students, and urging them for continuous, lifelong, practice-oriented education. “Along with the members of the Consortium, we believe that VR (Virtual Reality) and AR (Augmented Reality) technology are astonishing and efficient e-learning methods, with a huge potential. They have interactive, easily standardisable innovative functions, that are easy to adapt and implement on various digital platforms” – they said about the event.

The event is organised within the framework of the Erasmus+ “2021-1-HU01-KA220-HED-000032251” project. On its second day, May 24, Tuesday, at 10am, the Multiplier Event will include open professional presentations, to which every interested party is invited.

The location of the event will be the SIOT0033 room in the UPMS new theoretical building.
