Topic

The aim of the course is to enable students to master the steps of the ABCDE approach, as the ability to recognise critical conditions and to initiate life-saving interventions is essential for all healthcare workers. The course is structured in 4 blocks with exercises on a high-fidelity patient simulator in the Medical Simulation Education Center, since case-based learning and training in simulated classroom conditions has been shown to be one of the most effective way of teaching clinical skills.
