Topic
According to a preliminary survey, students have a need for this type of course. The course "Scientific Workshop" deals with the most current issues for students. The course provides students with useful theoretical and practical knowledge.
We will deal with the practical steps and pitfalls of writing an article or application. Furthermore, it is useful to discuss old and new laboratory methods and their applicability (e.g.: Twig silvering, RNA scope), practical demonstration, practical testing on your own sample.
The lack of the course will be filled in the discussion and applicability of statistical methods. Use of the SPSS program and discussion of necessary additional program packages. It will provide detailed information on the statistical processing of the results of biological measurements.
