Topic
Nowadays, more and more nutritional, metabolic and psychological disorders are associated with stress. During the course, students can gain a general insight into the physiology of stress and stress-related disorders. By presenting the animal models included in the research, they can get acquainted with the main directions and the advantages / disadvantages of behavioral paradigms. Furthermore, the goal is to provide an overview of current research findings, changes in the microbiome and the relationship between health and disease, and how changes in the microbiome can contribute to successful treatment.
