Tematika
The majority of common life phenomena and processes are closely connected to health. The core objective of our course is to offer students a unique overview of health from a variety of social contexts and perspectives. We will examine how social, cultural, religious, economic and other forces, impact health both negatively and positively. Our course readings and discussions will help us uncover hidden aspects of health-related actions and highlight some health aspects of everyday life. This course is built around lectures (including guest lectures), class discussion, film screenings, and in-class debates.
