QUALITY POLICY OF THE DEPARTMENT OF BEHAVIOURAL SCIENCES
The mission of the Department of Behavioural Sciences, Medical School, University of Pécs is twofold. It's educational mission is to educate medical students on the state-of-the-art behavioural knowledge that is essential for their future professional competence and to enable them to acquire communication and other skills in the doctor-patient relationship. In addition, the Department focuses on scientific work, ranging from basic research to clinical ones. Our most important values that define our work are as folllows.

The profile of the Institute is mainly the followings:

Quality is the result of conscious and continuous work in a unified system; therefore, the management of the Department of Behavioural Sciences operates and maintains a quality management system according to the requirements of the MSZ EN ISO 9001: 2015 standard. As part of this, we provide regular training for our staff, leading to an improved quality approach and improved service processes. In addition, our Department places great emphasis on strengthening organizational culture, human resource management, developing external and internal communication, and operating the information system.
For the sake of our organizational excellence, we continuously measure, analyse and improve our quality management system. In addition, we evaluate and analyse the needs of our partners, the quality of our scientific work, and our staff's performance, needs and satisfaction. We ensure the environmental, health and safety conditions and risks at the highest level of consistency. The Department's management and its entire staff have a personal responsibility for the quality of the activities they carry out. This is the principle of working. The management of the Department of Behavioural Sciences is responsible for the design, organization and effective operation of the quality management system.
Department of Behavioural Sciences has introduced and applied a Quality Management System which satisfies the requirements of ISO 9001:2015.
