Topic

The course introduces students and practitioners to the theory and practical principles of stress management methods that can be used by patients and practitioners, thus contributing to the application of medical and health psychology principles in medicine. The students will be able to use methods of stress reduction and basic relaxation techniques.

Acceptance of the course is conditional on the timely completion of written assignments. Absence from the course is only allowed in exceptional circumstances. To discuss experiences related to stress and relaxation, it is necessary to show the personal approach that is expected in everyday life. Therefore, students should apply who are well motivated to work with themselves personally and who are able to share their personal experiences with their peers on the course.
