on the order of entering the premises of the university and the hygienic rules applicable during the epidemiological preparedness in the fall semester of 2020/2021 based on the joint order of the rector and the chancellor no. 14/2020

 

Dear Student!

 

Hereby we inform you about the most important provisions of the recently issued Order that concerns students as well.

 

A. Order of entering the premises of the university

 

  1. Entering the premises of the university shall be bound to a definite goal (e.g. teaching, research, work, studying, administration, sports activity,) and be limited to the duration of achieving that particular goal.
  2. Only healthy individuals who do not show any symptoms of coronavirus infection shall enter (at their own risk) the university's buildings and visit events and classes. For usual symptoms of the infection see Annex 1 of Joint Order No. 14/2020.
  3.  It is obligatory to keep a protective distance of 1,5 metres during social interactions - if possible- and every individual MUST wear personal protective equipment that covers the mouth and the nose i (e.g. surgical mask, scarf, etc.) in the premises of the university in enclosed spaces or outdoor events, but even more strictly measures may be introduced.
  4. It is OBLIGATORY to comply with the epidemiological hygienic measures (washing hands frequently, using hand disinfectors, coughing etiquette, avoid touching, frequent airing, avoiding crowded places).
  5. Filling in the COVID-19 pre-triage survey in the Neptun ES is OBLIGATORY for every student of the university! The online pre-triage surveys are evalueated automatically. Students shall immediately report any changes in their answers by filling in the survey again.
  6. Measuring body temperature may be determined as a condition of entering the premises of the institution and in case of fever it is forbidden to enter the given  premises.

 

Authorised personnel may check whether the order of entering the premises of the University is kept and can warn any individual who breaks the rules to leave the university’s premises.

 

B. Enrolment, academic administration

 

1. Personal administration is possible only after booking an appointment online.

2. Academic administration is primarily carried out online and in the Neptun ES, except:

a) when paying fees with cash at cash desks,

b) with appointments.

3. During personal administration, students are obliged to wear a mask and keep the protective distance and hygienic rules!

 

C. Classes, practices requiring personal attendance

 

1. Keeping the special provisions and wearing a mask during practices is OBLIGATORY.

2. Pre-triage (filling out the pre-triage survey in Neptun) is OBLIGATORY for everyone before starting the clinical practice at the Clinical Centre. During the practice repeating the PCR-test is neccessary in case the student shows symptoms of coronavirus infection, is under epidemiological investigation, furthermore if his/her practice was intervened with a stay abroad. During the practice, wearing a mask is OBLIGATORY in all patient care areas of the Clinical Centre. Furthermore, the hygienic and personal protection equipment regulations of the Clinical Centre shall apply the students.

3. Students’ schedule shall be set in advance for the period between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.

 

D. Order of assessments

 

  1. Wearing personal protective equipment that covers the mouth and the nose (e.g. surgical mask, scarf, etc.).is OBLIGATORY during assessments and it is recommended to keep 1.5 metres protective distance.
  2. Coughing etiquette and the personal hygienic rules shall be strictly kept during assessments with personal presence.
  3. Regarding the organization of education the Faculty’s previously issued recommendations and principles shall be applied.

 

E. Use of sports-and other recreational facilities

 

  1. Only healthy individuals who do not have any symptoms may participate in sports and recreational events.
  2. Small-group activities are recommended during sports-and other recreational activities and the 1.5-2 metres protective distance should be maintained if possible.

 

F. Rules of the PCR-test

 

  1. The University shall bear the cost of SARS-CoV-2 PCR tests necessary for students to start their studies or required by the law in the previously specified cases.
  2. The results of a PCR test done at any of the laboratories listed on the website of the National Centre for Public Health are acceptable. In this case students shall bear the costs of the test.

 

In case you are obliged to take a PCR-test you must wait for the result in voluntary or official quarantine. The quarantine can be left of after the negative PCR-test result is certified or in case of official quarantine only with a permission to leave or a resolution on the exemption from the quarantine obligation.
