London company Quacquarelli Symonds has announced their latest university rankings on June 4. The list comparing the best higher education institutions worldwide includes the University of Pécs this time again, this time in position 771-780. instead of last year’s 801-850, and has also advanced in various markers.
Experts at Quacquarelly Symonds have been compiling world university rankings since 2004, comparing universities based on nine factors. They have examined the data of almost 5700 higher education institutions when preparing the rankings, of which 1503 were ranked.
“It is definitely positive, that from the nine factors analysed, we have made steps forward in eight compared to last year. I am also happy that we have been ranked stronger in the national market when it comes to student experiences, and we are second best in the country in the ratio of international students” – rated the results dr. Attila Miseta, rector of the University of Pécs.
The University of Pécs has made significant steps forward in four categories compared to the results from last year: two different markers measuring fame, the international research network, and in the field of sustainability.
