Tematika
The course provides an insight into the process of drug development through examples that involve nuclear magnetic resonance as an analytical tool. The method is extensively applied at numerous different points of the process, due to its versatility.
The course will discuss, after a brief theoretical introduction, the study of structure determination and structure-activity relationship of drug candidate molecules. In the second phase the course will discuss some (mostly in vivo) applications used for the investigation of the efficacy of drug candidates in various animal models.
