Tematika

The course provides a brief overview of the major areas of agricultural biotechnology (including plant, animal, and microbial biotechnology). It offers detailed knowledge of biotechnological methods applied in plant breeding and crop production, animal breeding and husbandry, as well as microbiological procedures used in fermentation technology. The course also focuses on the technical, economic, and legal aspects of genetically modified organisms. In addition, it briefly discusses environmental biotechnology relevant to agriculture (including water and soil waste management). Graduates will have improved opportunities in the labor market and in higher education, particularly in pursuing a master's degree in academic or industrial fields.
