Thematik

The course introduces the neuroanatomy and neuroendocrinological background of stress. The stress influences our daily life. The lectures explain the types and duration of stress and show differences of stressors' effects. We revise how the stress affects other hormone systems such as fertility and metabolism. We get an insight into the relationship of stress and dysfunction of central nervous system (cognitive functions loss, mood disorders). Our aim to introduce the changes in the central nervous system in stress and show those neurobiological alteration. Our lecturers introduce the repertoire of equipments, methods and animal models in stress research. Finally we get an insight into stress related research projects, and newest results which are running on our university departments
