On Sunday, October 13 2019, the workshop „Internal medicine propedeutics“ took place for the already 3rd time in the MedicalSkillslab of our university.
18 participants of the 3rd and 4th year took the chance to improve their skills and get a routin into their physical examination.
Groups of maximum 3 participants and 1 demonstrator created a familiar environment to win experience of the examination as well as to experience the feeling of being examinated. The main goal of the workshop has been „practise,practise…and yeah – practise“ but there was enough space for any question to ask and a pinch of theoretical input as well.
Within 5 hours every participants practised the regions of the human body starting from the head-neck down to the abdomen based on the IPPAF-scheme at different stations. At the end the demonstrators were left behind with an amazing feedback and the request of even more than just one workshop like this.
