Last week, from 04.04. to 06.04.2024, the 2024 OSCON Interdisciplinary TDK and PhD Conference was held in Osijek, organised by the Medical School of Josip Juraj Strossmayer University, and as in previous years, a large number of students from the UPMS applied for the conference.
The jury selected 9 abstracts from among the students who applied for the conference, so that a very large number of students could represent the Faculty.
The theme of this year's three-day event was plastic and reconstructive surgery. The organisers added interesting workshops to the scientific programme on each day.
The jury was assisted by Dr. László Kovács and Dr. Bence Pytel, professors of the Institute of Anatomy.
At the end of the last day, during the closing ceremony, the jury also awarded special prizes, among which Boglárka Tóth (Institute of Anatomy, supervisor: Dr. Tüde Tóth, Dr. Andrea Tamás) in the category "Outstanding Abstract" and Milica Milicic (Institute of Pharmacology, supervisor: Dr. Viktória Kormos) in the category "Best Scientific Research" recieved their awards. Our sincere congratulations to them and to their supervisors!
