Exam stress relief arrived on four legs at the Medical School in Pécs on 2 June, when three volunteers from the Élethíd Assistance Dog Foundation visited the campus with seven trained therapy dogs and one dog in training. The event offered a welcome break for students preparing for their exams in the area between the Endre Grastyán Theoretical Building and the Northern Park.
The dogs – five Labradors, two Border Collies and one German Shepherd – helped students relax and recharge between 1 and 3 p.m. Participants could ask the dogs to perform various tricks: they spun around, crawled between people’s legs, barked on command, and even charmed the crowd with their affectionate nature. For many students, simply petting or cuddling the dogs was enough to ease the tension of the exam period.

Those who were unable to take a break from studying this time, or who were sitting an exam during the event, will have another opportunity to meet the four-legged helpers on 17 June at the same time. The event will take place near the Northern Park; in case of bad weather, it will be moved to the lobby of the New Building.
