Orientation Days for First-Year Students on August 26 and 28

The Medical School and the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Pécs will welcome Hungarian and international first-year students with Orientation Days on August 26 and 28. This year's programme will begin with informative sessions (Information sessions) and will also feature engaging workshops and interactive presentations.

On August 26, information sessions will be held for students enrolled in the German-language programmes in Medicine and Dentistry, as well as for students in the English-language programmes in Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy and Biotechnology. On August 28, a series of presentations will be offered for first-year students enrolled in the Hungarian-language programmes in Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy. Optional programmes will also be available on both days, and all freshmen (first year students) are warmly encouraged to participate.

Attendance at the key information sessions is mandatory. These include presentations by the Registrar's Office on enrolment and the start of the semester, as well as sessions by ( Sessions delivered by) the Hungarian, English and German Admissions and Student Service Offices and the student unions. Students are also encouraged to take part in the optional programmes, as they can provide valuable support for navigating university life successfully. In addition to the workshops, participants will have the opportunity to visit an information stand where they can learn more about the University's and the faculties' other organisational units, programmes and services.

Some programme sessions require advance registration and have limited capacity, so early registration is strongly recommended.
