ERASMUS International Lecture Series on “Translational Neuroscience” - with the participation of UP MS

27 November 2020

As a cooperation between universities, the future of Erasmus mobilities is already here with us as an international online lecture series is being launched by one of our Erasmus partner universities, the University of Würzburg.

Their vision was to create a  course for students in the form of a joint series of lectures or seminars in English together with Erasmus partner universities, in which each individual partner makes its contribution on a common subject or theme. The first lecture of the eight-lecture series on the field of translational neuroscience is on 2 December 2020. Those interested can join any of the lectures through the adequate zoom-link listed in the program.

In October, our faculty was also invited to join the project with the coordination of the Office for International Relations, thus UP MS also actively contributes to this new initiative by offering a lecture in January 2021. Our professor Dóra Zelena and senior lecturer Eszter Mikó-Baráth from the Institute of Physiology are going to share their research experience in a joint lecture on animal models of posttraumatic stress disorder and screening of amblyopia with a mobile-based system. Other lectures in the series are going to be presented by professors from Würzburg, Maribor, Zagreb and Caen. To join lectures of the series, please click on the links given in the detailed program.

Our students and professors are warmly welcome to join this far-reaching and unprecedented way of exchange mobility – an innovation that might become a long-standing constituent of the Erasmus framework in the upcoming period.
