Dear Students,

This is to inform you that based on the joint instruction no. 3/2019. of the Rector and the Chancellor of the UP, the Neptun Electronic Educational System will be temporarily unavailable between December 18-22, 2020 due to database maintenance work. The downtime is expected to be 2 working days.

We introduce the following technical solutions regarding the Neptun shut down and the following holiday season (between December 18 8.00 am and December 28 8.00 am) in order to ease the exam registrations:

  1.       The deadline for exam registration will be modified from working days to calendar days, so de-registration will be possible 2 calendar days before the exam until 9.00 am; and registration will be possible 1 calendar day before the exam until 9.00 am.

  1.       Temporarily the exam registration will also be possible for those students who have failed the exam in this period, but their exam grade could not been recorded in Neptun by the institute/department.

We suggest that in case of exams with personal presence during the Neptun shut down, in order to temporarily register the grade and to prove your registration please print out the „Exam voucher” from under your registered exam in Neptun (for oral and written exams as well), which can be used following the exam for verification of the result by the examiner and to certify the given grade later.

You can reach the voucher in Neptun as follows: under Exams / Taken exams in the line of the chosen exam click on „+” button, then choose „Exam details”. In the pop-up window click on „Print exam voucher” by choosing the „PTE_sda_exam voucher” template.

Please bring the voucher with you to your exams with personal presence in the period of the Neptun shut down.

From December 28, 2020 the holiday and off day settings will be re-installed and exam registrations will continue according to the previous and known rules.

In case you need certifications from the Registrar’s Office (student status certificate, transcript) please request it from your administrative officer at latest until 18 December, 2020, otherwise we can only provide it after 28 December, 2010.

Wishing you a successful exam period!

Best regards,

Registrar’s Office
