The School provides opportunity for those students who participated in the defence against the COVID19 pandemic or were put in certified official home quarantine or epidemiological monitoring to make up for their exams in the frame of an extraordinary exam period.
According to the information provided by the UPMS Registrar’s Office, the extraordinary exam period in the fall semester of 2021/2022 will be announced between January 31 and February 4, 2022.
Students entitled to participate in the extraordinary exam period:
- Students participating at least 5 (five) certified days in secondment as part of the defence against the COVID-19 pandemic between December 1, 2021, and January 28, 2022.
- Students participating at least 5 (five) certified days in volunteer work as part of the defence against the COVID-19 pandemic between December 1, 2021, and January 28, 2022.
- Students being put in certified official home quarantine or epidemiological monitoring between December 13, 2021, and January 28, 2022 excluding the quarantine ordered due to international travelling or other exceptions specified in the Dean’s Order.
Registration for the extraordinary exam period is only possible in the Neptun Educational System by filling out the request form. Necessary documents to apply for the extraordinary exam period:
- Resolution on the secondment issued by the Hungarian Government Office addressed to the applicant,
- Contract of volunteer work (to be) completed in the defence against the pandemic addressed to the applicant,
- Resolution on the quarantine or epidemiological monitoring issued by the Hungarian Government Office addressed to the applicant.
According to the data provided by the University Student Council (EHÖK), 108 students of the School participated in secondment between 22 November 2021 and 3 January 2022 who may be eligible to participate in the extraordinary exam period if they apply for it.
The extraordinary exam dates will be announced in Neptun between January 10, 2022 8am and February 2, 2022 4pm. Students’ requests will be evaluated between January 12, 2022 8am and January 28, 2022 4pm continuously as they are submitted, those students whose request has been accepted can register for the exams between January 12, 2022 8am and February 3, 2022 9am.
