Virtual Events for International Med Students This Week!

Dear Students!

We would like to invite you to the following events:

Event 1: Thursday, November 21st "Q&A with Dr. Ruan, IMG"​

Dr. Qing Ruan is an international medical graduate (IMG) with experience from Harvard University, Oxford University, and most recently, the Providence US Veterans' Medical Center. In this open Q&A, Dr. Ruan will give tips and advice to current international medical students about how to gain U.S. clinical experiences, and match into the U.S. Residency program. Dr. Ruan is an amazingly accomplished physician, so this will be a great opportunity.

Event 2: Friday, November 22nd "Research Fellowship Opportunity: Advanced Surgery & Woundcare"

This event will spotlight a 12-month research fellowship opportunity which is available at one of the top woundcare facilities in the USA. Through this program, trainees will learn the fundamentals of wound care prevention, gain many procedural competencies within the field, and advance their overall research skills. This type of program is perfect for post-graduates who are either looking to match into residency, learn a new field of medicine, or just want to boost their resume.
